Demand for many goods and services has stalled, unemployment claims have reached record highs, and many academic institutions and businesses are operating online — if at all. Life has changed dramatically across the country.
On January 7th, Bowman & Company LLP partnered with WSFS Bank to co-host the South Jersey chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners' (NAWBO SJ) monthly networking event.
On November 15th, Bowman & Company LLP's Senior Manager Maryann Holloway visited Deptford Township High School to speak with the next generation of potential accountants.
This past fall, Bowman team members traveled to the Berlin and Mount Holly locations of Oaks Integrated Care's annual Thanksgiving food drive to lend a hand in this tremendous event. Together, volunteers from throughout the Burlington & Camden Counties spent the day accepting and sorting food donations and preparing bags of donated items for delivery to those in need.
On January 1st, Bowman & Company Partner Harry P. Wills and retired Supervisor Steve Reilly brought in the New Year by helping tabulate and present the results of the Mummers Parade String Band competition.
Shortly before Christmas last year, Bowman & Company LLP staff visited Camden City Hall for the City's annual holiday gift drive. In what has now become a holiday tradition, Bowman Partners and staff donated presents of toys and clothing to the children of Camden to help them celebrate the holidays. Food was served, holiday music was played, and Santa and his elves were on hand to deliver presents. The children were all thrilled to take part in this wonderful event, and a jolly, festive time was had by all.
On Sunday, November 3rd Bowman & Company LLP participated in the 2019 Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge Event. This event consisted of a 10K run and a 2 mile walk, which both raised funds to support the children of the Larc School. This nonprofit organization provides individualized services in rehabilitation, therapy, and education for children with developmental disabilities. Furthermore, these services are all provided at no cost to the families.
On Wednesday, October 16th, three Bowman team members joined with Bancroft as part of Bowman & Company LLP's volunteerism program. Bancroft is a leading regional nonprofit provider of specialized services for individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or need for neurological rehabilitation.
