As the Leader of the NJ Governmental Accounting and Auditing Interest Group of the NJCPA, Bowman & Company Partner Carol A. McAllister moderated a meeting on August 22, 2017, in which staff from the NJ Department of Education (NJDOE) were present.  The NJDOE staff provided an update on changes to the NJ School Audit Program, updates on the 2016-17 CAFR submissions, and updates to the IDEA grant and compliance supplement.

This meeting provided valuable professional education for CPAs and Public School Accountants from across the State.
