Student DeskOver the last two decades, Bowman & Company LLP has been a proud sponsor of the Camden Schools Foundation (CSF). We believe in the Foundation’s mission, the potential of the Camden youth, and that every child deserves an opportunity to pursue goals in their educational and professional careers. Bowman & Company LLP is proud to announce that we have recently been awarded a CSF “Founder’s Honor Award” for 2025.

The award was presented at the CSF’s 14th annual Hall of Fame Awards dinner. This event recognizes individuals that both improve the City of Camden and represent everything the Foundation stands for. This year, the Hall of Fame inductees included educator Delia Brown, Camden Fire Chief Jesse Flax, Camden County Police Officer Daniel Irizarry, and Reverand Townsend of St. John Baptist Church. These individuals were inducted to the CSF Hall of Fame on a milestone year for the organization as the CSF celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025. To date, over $2 million dollars have been raised for scholarships and grants that benefit Camden students.

Additional recognition at the event included the “Founder’s Honor Award”. This was presented to four corporations within Camden County that have philanthropically contributed to the Camden Schools Foundation and similar organizations in Camden. This year’s honorees include New Jersey American Water, AllRisk, Connor Strong & Buckelew, and Bowman & Company LLP.

Several members of Bowman’s Governmental Services Department attended the event; Partners Todd Saler, Michael Cesaro, Jenn Bertino, Evan Palmer, Michael Cragin, Jr., and Ken Drewes, as well as Senior Managers Amy Neimeister, Amy Perrone, and Lexi Wilson.

Education is of particular importance to Bowman & Company LLP. Not only do we service many not-for-profit organizations that focus on providing educational opportunities and funding, we also service dozens of school districts throughout the state of New Jersey. Firm personnel visit local schools and universities to speak about their careers and opportunities within the accounting industry. Additionally, we invest our time and resources into professional education and development within our own industry. Many of our Partners lead Continuing Professional Education (CPE) seminars, which provide credits towards maintaining a CPA license. We have partnered with local universities to establish co-op programs that provide real-work experience to students. Finally, we fund scholarships in memoriam of past Partners of the firm, through our involvement with the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (NJCPA) scholarship program. From grade schools to career professionals, Bowman believes that everyone stands to benefit from education.
