Accountant - Entry Level

Job Duties Include:

  • Working alongside a team of fellow professionals to carryout segments of accounting and auditing engagements.
  • Engaging with clients to facilitate the exchange of information to complete required tasks.
  • Developing effective communication, organizational, and teamwork skills that are essential for self-fulfilling and successful professional development

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Must have, or be on track to graduate with a college undergraduate degree with a 3.0 GPA.
  • Must have completed at least 24 hours in college-level accounting courses.
  • Between zero and three years of experience in public accounting.

Accountant - Experienced

Job Duties Include:

  • Planning and executing audit, review and accounting engagements for a variety of entities including but not limited to commercial engagements, municipalities, colleges, board of educations and authorities
  • Preparation, review and analysis of financial statements

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of public accounting experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Ability to interact with clients
  • CPA license required

Marketing cOORDINATOR

Bowman & Company LLP is seeking a marketing professional to support the Firm’s management group in carrying out selected marketing strategies.

Job Duties Include: (Not Exhaustive)

  • Assists in carrying out specific PR programs, including preparing press releases and maintaining an up to date media mailing list.
  • Responsible for logistics relating to the Firm’s special events, including client seminars, open houses, conventions and other off site activities.
  • Acts as editor for all firm generated communications, including client newsletter mailings, e-newsletters, in-house office bulletins, direct mail pieces and any other materials. Supervises production, acts as a liaison with writers and printer and directs mailing.
  • Maintains inventory of the Firm’s promotional literature. Is responsible for notifying appropriate individual if reprints are needed. Makes materials available for seminars, public speaking opportunities and other needs.
  • Maintains the Firm’s business development and client database through the preparation of reports and spreadsheets.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in process) in Accounting
  • Some experience in marketing, communications, PR, advertising or journalism
  • Ability to work well with others, across departments and technical backgrounds
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, perform several tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Promptness and dependability while juggling multiple short and long term projects
  • Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills
