The annual convention of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) is a chance for industry professionals to connect, learn, and discuss the future of the profession. It’s also an opportunity for the Society’s leadership to be visible and available to their constituents. They hold tremendous influence on the future of accounting; these leaders are responsible for developing industry standard practices, promoting education, and representing the face of New Jersey accounting. Bowman has been fortunate to have three past presidents of the NJCPA as Partners, including our current Managing Partner Harry Wills. As a token of appreciation for Mr. Will’s time performing these crucial duties, outgoing NJCPA President June Toth presented Harry with a Distinguished Service Medallion at the 2025 convention (pictured on the right).
Harry’s involvement in the NJCPA spans across decades of an accomplished career at our Firm. He has served in six different roles for the Society, including: State Treasurer, Director, Special Events Committee chairperson, Strategic Planning Committee member, and President of both the Southwest Jersey Chapter and the entire NJCPA. He is still an active member of the Society today, in addition to holding numerous other titles with different professional organizations, such as Councilmember of the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA).
Bowman’s Managing Partner remarks, “It’s a great honor to receive the Society’s recognition. The organization is, and has always been throughout my career, full of incredible people.”
