On Thursday November 29, 2018, Carol McCallister, CPA, RMA, Partner of Bowman & Company LLP was a presenter during a session at the Rutgers University Governmental Accounting and Auditing Update Conference held on the New Brunswick Campus.

The purpose of the conference was to bring leaders in public financial management together to address the most pressing issues and provide an update on current regulations, accounting pronouncements, auditing issues and other subjects of interest.  Participants learned about current state fiscal matters from the NJ State Treasurer and the Director of NJ Division of Local Government Services.  Presentations by notable speakers from the fields of government accounting, auditing and other financial management areas discussed updates on auditing, accounting, and financial management issues, including the latest GASB pronouncements and governmental issues.  Approximately 150 government auditors, accountants and financial professionals attends the conference each year.
