As technology has evolved, so has the way governments deliver services to citizens. Driven by a multitude of factors, governments will now be able to deliver services cheaper, quicker and more efficiently. New technology allows people to access complex data sets and create complex applications. These applications will help citizens track what is going on around the city, such as when trash will be picked up, where their bus or train is or what was talked about at the last city council meeting. Being open with this type of information will open the lines of communication between the government and its citizens, thus strengthening their relationship between the two.
