Robert P. Nehila, Jr. was admitted as a Partner of the Firm on July 1, 2003 and has been in governmental auditing since 1991. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Registered Municipal Accountant and Public School Accountant in New Jersey. He is a graduate of Rider University and resides in Voorhees Township.
EXPERIENCE
Bob specializes in, and currently audits, school districts, county colleges, municipal governments, public libraries, and non-profit entities including college foundations. He is experienced with various federal and state single audits, including Student Financial Aid.
He is recognized for his GASB experience within the Firm:
- Former Vice Chairman of the Firms Governmental Services Department
- Partner in Charge of the Higher Education Group
- Former Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s in-house monitoring program for governmental engagements
- Developed and instructed numerous in-house continuing professional education seminars
He is also recognized for his GASB experience outside the Firm:
- Former Oversight Reviewer, otherwise known as a Subject Matter Expert, for the AICPA’s Enhanced Oversight Program – Governmental Engagements
- Frequent speaker at the New Jersey County College Business Officer’s Affinity Group
